It turns out the building there is actually a fairly decent shopping mall with the Hard Rock inside. That worked out okay, because it let me walk around in the mall air conditioning for a half hour to quit sweating before I went to the Hard Rock. It turns out that whole "equatorial climate" thing can get pretty warm.

Oh yes... The other part of equatorial. On my way back to the hotel, it starts to cloud up a bit. THAT'S when I remember all the other equatorial countries I've been in have daily rain storms. I almost made it back to the hotel. Almost.
